Teenager injured in knife attack
A teenager was stabbed in the face in a knife attack in Pembroke last night.
Police were called to the scene on Rambling Lane shortly after 9pm in the wake of reports of a disturbance involving a man with a knife.
A police spokesman said: “Upon their arrival, officers were informed that a 17-year-old male had been stabbed in the face and was transported by private motor car to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
“Checks at the hospital confirmed the victim sustained a laceration to his right cheek. His injury was not deemed to be life-threatening.”
A suspect in the incident is described as male, 6ft tall and of muscular build.
