Police appeal for witnesses after woman injured in attack
Police have launched an investigation after a woman suffered a serious head wound in an attack at the weekend.
The incident took place at a home on Inghams Vale in Pembroke on Saturday.
The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where she received treatment for the wound before being released.
A suspect in his fifties — who is known to the victim — was taken into police custody after the attack, but police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may footage of the incident captured on CCTV cameras or mobile phones to come forward.
