Missing 15-year-old girl found in good health
Missing teenager Raquel Sofia Sousa Sequeira has been found in good health, police said this evening.
Earlier today the Bermuda Police Service made a direct appeal to the teenager to give her location to officers or someone she knew.
Then in a statement this evening, police said: “Thanks to the assistance of our community, the Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that 15-year-old Raquel Sofia Sousa Sequeira has been located, in good health.”
At first it was thought that she was last seen between 10.30am and 11am on October 28 in the vicinity of Hill View, Warwick.
However, today police said: “It is believed that the 15-year-old was last seen on Sunday, October 29 in Pembroke, apparently wearing white clothing.”
Previously police warned that it was an offence to harbour a minor. A person convicted of this offence can face a fine of up to $3,000 or imprisonment for up to six months.
