Gun fired on Factory Lane

Police have confirmed that a gun was fired outside a Pembroke home on Wednesday night but said that no injuries had been reported.

The Bermuda Police Service said in a statement that at about 9.40pm officers responded to a 911 call.

“The caller reported that a gunshot was fired outside their Factory Lane, Pembroke home,” the statement said.

“On arrival, it was confirmed that a firearm was discharged. No injuries were reported. The scene was forensically processed and inquiries continue.”

Police said that detectives were following early leads but were appealing for additional information about the incident.

“In particular, investigators are keen to speak with Factory Lane, Pembroke, residents who may have seen or captured on their outdoor security cameras any suspicious individuals or suspicious activity in the neighbourhood on Wednesday evening, November 8, 2023,” the statement added.
