Man stabbed in early-morning attack
A man was treated in hospital on Wednesday after he was stabbed multiple times in an incident in Sandys in the early hours.
Police said that the victim was involved in an altercation with another man on Cambridge Road near its junction with Somerset Road at about 1am.
A third man then arrived on a motorcycle and stabbed one of the two men involved in the fight.
The rider left the scene along Cambridge Road, heading in the direction of Long Bay Road.
The victim, who was believed to be in his early twenties, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for several stab wounds.
Police said the extent of his injuries was not known.
A section of Cambridge Road was cordoned off while police processed the scene.
