Investigation launched into burglary at Sunjammers

Police have launched an investigation into a burglary and vandalism that took place at Sunjammers Bar and Grill in St David’s.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said a report was received just before 9.30am on Saturday from the establishment by Clearwater Beach.

Police spoke to a complainant who said they attended Sunjammers to open the business for the day and found that damage had been caused to two cameras and two padlocks to gain entry to the premises.

The BPS said: “The suspect(s) then removed several bottles of liquor, before making good their escape.

“An investigation into this matter is now under way.”
