Suspect in custody for Warwick shooting

A 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting on September 12 at Quarry Hill Road, Warwick that wounded a 48-year-old male.

It followed the execution of a police warrant at a Warwick home, where a spokesman said “items liable for seizure” were also recovered.

An investigation continues, and anyone with potential information was urged to contact Detective Chief Inspector Derricka Burns at 717-0921 or by e-mail at dburns@bps.bm.

Anyone with information can call 211, use the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers number at 800-8477, or speak with a familiar officer.
