Police to conduct roadside sobriety tests this weekend
Created: Oct 30, 2024 07:50 AM
Motorists were warned that police will be out in force conducting roadside sobriety checks across the island this weekend.
A post on the Bermuda Police Service Facebook page said that the checkpoints will be in effect in all parishes on Friday and Saturday.
The post added: “While it should be clear, we once again remind, if you drink, don't drive. If you use mind-altering substances of any kind, don’t drive.
“The decisions you make can be life-altering and the life you save just might be your own.
“We thank you for your understanding and co-operation with our officers should you be stopped at one of these checkpoints, as they're working to ensure the safety of all road users.”
