Police: pair seen speeding on bike immediately after shooting
An appeal was made today for information from anyone who saw two people speeding on a motorcycle in the wake of a shooting this week.
The Bermuda Police Service said that two men remained in hospital after they were injured in the incident, which happened in the area of Cedar Heights Lane, Warwick at about 9.10pm on Thursday.
They added that the 53-year-old and 38-year-old were left with multiple gunshot wounds, but they were not considered life-threatening, and their treatment continued.
The BPS said: “It is understood that immediately after the shooting, two persons dressed in dark clothing were seen on a motorcycle speeding in an easterly direction along Harbour Road.
“Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen individuals fitting this description in the area of Cedar Hill, St Mary’s Road, Warwick, and Harbour Road, shortly before or after the shooting.
“We wish to thank those members of the public who have so far come forward with information on this incident.”
