Police: no shots fired in weekend gun incident
Updated: Nov 27, 2024 05:37 PM
No one was injured after a reported firearms incident on Saturday, police have confirmed.
A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service told TNN that two men arrived at a Southampton residence on a motorcycle, with one brandishing a firearm.
The weapon was not discharged and the alleged suspects left the scene.
In a separate matter, the spokesman said that a 22-year-old man was arrested on November 20 after drugs were seized from a residence on Deepdale Road in Pembroke.
The reported seizure came less than a week after police found “a significant amount of controlled drugs” and money in a Paget home.
Three people were arrested in that matter — but all incidents remain under investigation.
