McComas conquers Knapton Hill

The double ascent of Knapton Hill from Harrington Sound proved to be a deciding factor in many of the divisions, with Kaden Hopkins the quickest in that part of the male B race, although he was not able to hold off Chad Townsell who pipped him at the line.
Townsell finished in 1:58:19.554, while Hopkins of Winner’s Edge, posted a time of 1:58:19.626. Luis Martin of Bicycle Works was third in 1:58:21.422.

In the women’s category, Karen Smith, who won in 1:25:12.312, and second-place Gabriella Arnold, both Winner’s Edge, gained the advantage over Sarah Bonnett of Madison Digicel, who finished third, and Zoe Roberts of Bicycle Works, who placed fourth.
The junior A category was won by Alex Bordage of Winners Edge, the junior B division by Ensue-Nico Davis, while Blake Oliveira of Winner’s Edge claimed the Junior C race.
