Kaden Hopkins and Conor White finish in top 40 at world championships

Kaden Hopkins and Conor White finished 32nd and 39th respectively in the elite men’s time-trial at the Cycling World Championships on Sunday.
Among the 59-strong field, Hopkins stopped the clock at 57min 39.40sec, completing the 46.1km course with an average speed of 47.974km/h.
White produced an average speed of 46.458km/h on his way to a time of 59:32.23.
It was no surprise that the winner turned out to be Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel, of Belgium, who blitzed the course in 53:01.98. The Italian pair of Filippo Ganna and Edoardo Affini picked up the silver and bronze medals.
