Cyclist Conor White signs with team in UK
Bermudian cyclist Conor White is heading to England after signing with a new team.
White, the Caribbean Time-Trial champion who also won a bronze medal in the time-trial at the Pan American Games in Chile in 2023, has signed for the Scott Redding Cycling team, and will be flying to Europe to compete early in the new year.
His new team is named after founder Scott Redding, a World Super Bike rider who set up the venture in 2021 with Criterium racing the focus and compete on a variety of surfaces, including gravel, on which White competed at this year’s World Championships.
Announcing White’s arrival on Instagram, the Scott Redding Cycling Team said they were looking forward to seeing what the Bermudian can do on the European roads.
Director Sportive Adam Ellis also welcomed White to the team.
“Welcome to the team bro,” Ellis said,
“Bring some Bermuda weather with you when you come to the UK.”
