Police lift diversion in Sandys caused by road accident

Traffic flow has returned to normal after a serious crash in the Scaur Hill area of Sandys yesterday.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “Details regarding the circumstances of this crash and the injuries sustained are anticipated in due course.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”
A police spokesman said earlier that the accident meant that traffic was disrupted in and out of the West End.
Officers diverted motorists away from the crash via the Railway Trail.
A member of the public at the scene said it was understood that at least one person was taken to hospital.
