A man died after a single-vehicle crash in Devonshire this morning, police said.
The incident, which involved a motorcycle, marked the island’s twelfth road fatality this year.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said emergency crews attended Middle Road just east of the junction with Shelton Road at about 1.55am.
He added: “The male motorcycle rider was found unresponsive, with a serious head injury.
“Life-saving measures were commenced at the scene and the victim was subsequently transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.”
The spokesman said no further information will be provided until all next of kin have been informed.
