Man, 72, taken to hospital after Hamilton Parish collision
A senior was taken to hospital yesterday after a four-vehicle collision in Hamilton Parish, police said.
The incident happened at about 8.50am on North Shore Road near Somers Hill Road.
Police said earlier that it appeared the collision involved three cars and a motorcycle and that it was understood one person suffered head injuries.
Traffic was reduced to one lane, while the scene was processed.
The Bermuda Police Service said in an update later that traffic flow returned to normal at about 10.20am.
It added: “The rider injured in the collision, believed to be a 72-year-old Hamilton Parish man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“An update on his medical condition is anticipated in due course.”
Witnesses are asked to call 211.
