Woman seriously injured in Paget crash

A woman motorcyclist was taken to hospital this afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Paget.
A police spokesman said the collision happened on Middle Road near its junction with Manse Road at about 2.30pm.
The incident involved a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle.
The BPS spokesman said that the woman, who was seriously injured, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Traffic in the area was diverted until just before 5.30pm, when police advised that the road was reopened.
