A traffic incident over the weekend left a motorcycle hanging from a tree branch, the Bermuda Police Service said today.

In a post on the BPS Facebook page, police said that between last night and early this morning six serious crashes were reported.

“In one of these, a motorcycle was left hanging from a tree branch,” the post said. “Yes, you read that right, the bike was hanging from a tree branch.

“Thankfully the motorcycle rider’s injuries, while serious, were not life threatening.”

The post urged motorists to take care on the roads to help avoid potentially tragic consequences.

“Once again, please slow down, don’t drive while impaired, avoid using handheld devices and doing your make-up while driving,” the post added.

“The life you save could well be your own.”
