When what to my wondering joy did appear,

But Flora Duffy winning gold at the Olympics this year!

While the Beeple sale at Christie’s for millions had little trouble,

I knew in a moment NFTs were becoming a bubble.

More rapid than eagles, the variants they came,

And we used the Greek alphabet to call them by name:

Now Alpha, Now Beta, and Gamma

On Delta, On Omicron, oh what drama!

They mutate and change then fall,

Please go away, go away, go away all!

Nefarious groups went on with cyber-attacks,

With the SolarWinds and ransomware hacks.

His eyes – how they must have twinkled and shone

As now the richest man is Tesla’s Elon.

Powell spoke not a word, and left rates the same,

And bond yields remained low and very tame.

Let us STILL look forward to the day when travel and hugs are all right,

And wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a good night.
