Twelve Bermudian students pursuing careers in the arts have received awards from the Peter Leitner Arts Scholarship.The students will be working towards a variety of degrees in the fine and performing arts at overseas universities.This is the twelfth year these scholarships have been awarded. It was set up by Margaret Leitner in memory of her architect husband Peter, who was a supporter of the arts.In the years since the scholarship fund was formed, it has awarded 103 scholarships totalling nearly $410,000 to 60 students.
