Two students pursuing medical careers have been awarded scholarships of $7,500 each by the Bermuda Health Foundation.
The awards went to University of Leeds scholar Isaac James, who is studying paediatric medicine, and Bermuda Hospitals Board technician Jacqueline Simons, currently studying at the Windsor University School of Medicine in Basseterre, St Kitts.
The scholarships were given out at the Foundation’s service awards luncheon for long-standing nurse and Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church worker Bernella Williams.
