Parent councils in time for new school year
Created: Aug 04, 2015 08:00 AM
Rules have been unveiled covering parental input at public-funded primary and middle schools in time for the coming school year.
The rules, which complement Parent-Teacher Associations, give parents the autonomy to make their own advisory councils and choose members.
Information sessions will be held by the Ministry of Education over the next two months. Questions can be put to Kimberley McKeown at 278-3311 or krmckeown@gov.bm.
