Congratulations have gone from CedarBridge Academy to 18 of its S2 students who sat the IGCSE Cambridge Examination in English Language in November 2015.

The school reported its best results, with three A* grades, six As, six Bs and four Cs — after students covered a two-year course in one year.

Students not only applied themselves during school hours but gave up time on Saturdays and took classes during their school breaks to prepare for the exams, under the guidance of their teacher, Keyna Crawford-Anderson.

Their teacher declared herself “immensely proud of and delighted with my students’ results, which is a testament of their staunchness and the dedication of parents”.

The school attributed the exam success to an exceptional partnership between teachers, students and parents.

“Mrs Crawford-Anderson believes in her students and holds them to high expectations and standards,” principal Kalmar Richards said.

“She works with the students to help them to master skills and concept at a level that will guarantee success.”
