Somersfield Academy will be hosting a Walk Our Journey event as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The public is invited to take part in the fundraising 5.39-mile walk or run beginning at the site of the school’s first home, Tivoli Field, Warwick, on Sunday, December 4.

Participants will walk to the campus in Devonshire, where they will be served a nutritious breakfast.

The school said in a statement: “We invite you to join us as we celebrate this milestone by participating in the medley of events and supporting our school’s continued development.

“We encourage everyone to participate. While this event is open to the entire community, we are looking for great representation from the Somersfield community of parents, students and alumni.”

Registration is $30 for adults or $25 for students aged under 17.
