Students at Saltus Grammar School have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in GCSE and (i) GCSE exams.

Of the 61 S11 students who took five or more exams, 100 per cent achieved at least five A* to C (i) GCSE passes and 39 per cent of all exams taken were awarded A or A* grades.

Students from S10 also successfully sat a variety of the internationally accepted exams ahead of schedule.

Head of School, Deryn Lavell, said the results were further proof of student success, coming in the wake of Advanced Placement (AP) exams where the school again exceeded the global average pass rates.

“It takes so much hard work, commitment and discipline to achieve results like these. Each and every student should feel as proud of their success as we are of them,” she said.

“It is also testimony to the strength of the Saltus faculty who offered guidance and support throughout this journey. Congratulations to all.”

The top performer this academic year was Jewell Cumberbatch who achieved seven A*s and three A grades.
