Myles Smith and Aysia Stovell were crowned Mr and Miss CedarBridge at the weekend.
The pair came top in a group of nine contenders in the annual competition held at the school’s Ruth Seaton James Centre.
Aysia was delighted to be named Miss CedarBridge for the class of 2019 and promised to be a role model for her friends.
She said: “I am honoured and blessed that I was crowned Miss CedarBridge because we all really worked hard.
“I want to set a great example for the students. This is not all about me.”
Ms Stovell, 18, a member of the Suigeneris dance team and of the Delta Gems sorority, entered the competition for personal development.
She said: “It wasn’t my plan to win. My plan was to do it for the experience ... before, I said ‘if I win, then it would be a bonus’.
“I really didn’t expect to win.”
Aysia, from Warwick, who wants to become a social worker, said it was a great experience to be able to take part in the school’s main fundraiser.
Myles, 18, also from Warwick, was surprised to win the Mr CedarBridge title. He said: “I was shocked to find out I won. To know I did win is an honour.”
He is a dancer with the In Motion School of Dance and a member of the Noire Youth Theatre Company. He also hopes to motivate his schoolmates.
Several other pupils were also awarded prizes. Vanessa Gilbert won the Ms Congeniality award and Shai-Shun Burgess won Mr Congeniality.
Mr Burgess also won the Mr Photogenic prize and Savannah Jeronimo won Ms Photogenic.
