CedarBridge hosts employment fair
High school pupils took part in the third annual Student Employment Fair.
Pupils from the Berkeley Institute and CedarBridge Academy participated in the event held at CedarBridge, in Prospect.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Education said the event let senior school pupils “represent and market themselves to potential employers”.
She added: “Some industries represented today included hospitality, medical, accounting and the Bermuda Government.”
Diallo Rabain, the Minister of Education, said that it was important that pupils “have every opportunity to successfully enter the Bermuda workforce”.
He added: “It was truly a pleasure to speak to some of our senior school students and learn about their skills, interests and accomplishments.
“Moments like this remind me of how bright the future is for Bermuda with our next generation rising to lead.”
The event was hosted by the Department of Education.
