The Bermuda College’s art students are displaying their work this month at the Bermuda Society of Arts Gallery at City Hall.

Worke range from a series of faceless portraits of people with expressions like “Black father are not deadbeats” and “Surprised I ain’t a thug?” to a sculpture of a woman made entirely of pieces of discarded plastic.

The works for the annual exhibition fill the whole of the gallery, and offer an insight into the experiences of young Bermuda residents, as they tackle themes like the Covid-19 pandemic, pollution and climate change and growing into adulthood.
