The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is bringing back its Saturday Kids Hour this weekend.

Through the programme, held on the third Saturday of every month, children can learn about interesting ocean inhabitants.

Saturday’s session will be on barracudas.

February’s series will centre around basking sharks and dolphins will be the focus in March.

BUEI CEO Karla Lacey said: “We are excited for the return of this popular series. The BUEI team has worked hard to prepare a new selection of educational and fun ocean-themed films and books for all those who wish to attend.”

The series, which will be held at 11am and 2pm, will be free to all caregivers and members and $4 for children of non-members.

The price of admission includes entry into BUEI’s Ocean Discovery Centre and caregivers are required to stay at the event with their children.

Call the BUEI’s gift shop at 294 0204 to reserve a spot, as spaces will be limited.
