From caring for snakes to protecting borders – students learn about future careers
Updated: Jan 25, 2023 05:00 PM
Port Royal Primary School pupils mapped out their plans for the future yesterday after a range of industry professionals attended the school’s careers fair.
Doctors, chefs and animal caretakers sat down with youngsters to explain what their jobs involved – and even brought along some out-of-office work in the form of animals and freshly made treats.
The Department of Customs also attended the event as part of International Customs Day, which celebrates the work done by the men and women who protect the border.
