Children’s nursery has its own Ag Show

Staff and pupils at the City Strivers nursery school in Hamilton brought a touch of nature into the classroom by hosting their own Ag Show.

Yesterday the nursery was open to members of the public who could enjoy displays of home-grown fruits and vegetables as well as a large installation based on the theme of animals and insects.

Youngsters made many display objects at home, including healthy lunchboxes, baked goods, kites, plants, and arts and crafts.

This year’s Bermuda Annual Exhibition — or Ag Show — will open next Thursday at the Botanical Gardens in Paget and run for three days.
