Future Leaders Bermuda offering free student clinic
Students can learn ways to balance school, life and job seeking at an upcoming resources clinic.
The free clinic, launched by the youth empowerment group Future Leaders Bermuda, will offer workshops to prepare attendees for the job market and university.
The clinic will allow high school pupils, university students and graduates returning to Bermuda to interact with mentors and each other, allowing them to have one-on-one sessions about their personal growth.
Workshops will also include resume reviews, tips on how to transition from home to school and back, mental health advice and managing a brand image.
A spokeswoman for Future Leaders Bermuda said: “The Student Resources Clinic is a testament to the commitment of the Future Leaders Bermuda network and sponsors in empowering Bermudian students and creating a brighter future for the community.
“By offering valuable resources and support, the event aims to serve as a grass roots and accessible resource for any and all students in Bermuda.”
The workshop will take place on July 16 at the Bermuda Industrial Union on Union Street, Hamilton, from 1pm to 4pm.
Students are encouraged to bring their resumes if available for review and to come with any questions they may have about their academic and professional careers.
