A mural depicting months of the year was unveiled at the Saltus Grammar School’s St John’s campus today.

Eight students and three teachers worked on the piece, displayed outside the school’s Alumni Hall, over a ten-day period.

The mural depicts a clock inside a moongate, with each hourly segment representing a different month of the year.

Julie Rousseau, head of school, said: “Murals have the power to ignite the imagination and positively influence our interactions with the people and space around us.

“We are grateful for the collaboration of our young artists, led by their art teacher Sarai Hines, and how they have reflected key moments of school life in this work.

“It is a true visual representation of community building and a testament to our core value of belonging.”
