An interactive event hosted by the Economic Development Department was designed to inspire and educate high school students about “the vast and exciting world of technology”.

Featured topics included fintech, artificial intelligence, robotics, app development, cybersecurity, non-fungible tokens, bioinformatics, genetics and other cutting-edge tech-related subjects.

Diallo Rabain, the Minister of Education, told the students: “Use technology as a force for good.

“There are countless ways to make a positive impact, whether developing solutions to address climate change, creating innovative healthcare technologies, or promoting equality and access through bioinformatics or digital platforms.

“Technology can bring about positive change in the world, and it's up to each of you to harness that power and use it to create a better future for all of us.”
