Bermuda Healthcare Services gives $10,000 to PHC
Pembroke Hamilton Club has been awarded $10,000 by Bermuda Healthcare Services as part of the clinic’s support for community clubs.
It marked the final instalment of $20,000 pledged by the clinic in support of PHC.
Ewart Brown, the former premier and BHCS founder and executive chairman, said: “Even in difficult economic times, we feel an obligation to support our community organisations.”
Dr Brown said the clinic saluted PHC as it continued its “stellar education programme”.
The cheque was presented to Michael Trott, the PHC president, who said the club’s executive and members gave “sincere appreciation to Dr Brown and the Bermuda Healthcare Services for their unwavering support of our programmes.”
Mr Trott thanked the clinic for its “dedicated commitment” as he accepted the donation from Mahesh Reddy, the medical director of BHCS.
