Diallo Rabain, the Minister of Education, congratulated 15 public elementary and middle school mathematics teachers for completing an online professional development programme.

Offered by the Schools, Students and Teachers network in Britain, the Lead Practitioner accreditation centres on research-based teaching and learning practices.

Mr Rabain said the certification, which takes a year to complete, speaks to the educators’ “dedication to elevating teaching and learning standards in mathematics education.

“It signifies your commitment to professional growth and practice, which is essential for advancing education reform in Bermuda."
