Paget Primary shows appreciation for partners

An appreciation breakfast was hosted by the leadership team at Paget Primary School to celebrate business partners, community groups and volunteers.

The event provided an opportunity for informal discourse as the guests enjoyed porridge, quiche and pastries while pupils performed two scenes from The Wiz.

A spokeswoman for the school said: “Each partner received a certificate of appreciation from acting principal Sonia Raynor and acting deputy principal Gina Cann.

“The morning ended with a group picture taken near the entrance of the school.

“The partners were extremely appreciative of the event, many lingering around chatting long after the final activity.”

Guests said the event brought members of the community together.

Ms Raynor said she would like the community partners and volunteers breakfast to become an annual event, “as the synergy between community partners and the school is vital to positive academic and social outcomes for children”.
