Bermuda College to host happy hour at visitor centre
People can learn more about Bermuda College programmes at the Birdcage this week.
The event at the bar at the visitor centre on Front Street on Thursday will feature food, drinks, music and prizes free of charge.
Tawana Flood, the director of the college’s Athora Division of Professional and Career Education, said the event was aimed at “non-traditional” students who may have full-time jobs and needed a more flexible class schedule.
Ms Flood added: “They do not have to come to the college to learn about us, we are meeting them in the heart of the city during our first-ever happy hour.”
In addition to representatives from the college, people from various industries, including hospitality, accounting and the Bermuda coastguard, will speak at the event, which will run from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
