Volunteer coaches needed for Mirrors Programme
The Mirrors Programme is seeking volunteers to help transform the lives of young people.
The organisation, which seeks to change students’ lives through personal development and performance coaching, is looking for 30 life coaches for its Coaching for Success Community Programme.
Kimberley Jackson, a programme manager for Mirrors, said: “Our theme, ‘Transform your Perspective’, reflects our commitment to helping young people reshape their outlook on life and achieve their full potential.
“The comprehensive approach of the Coaching for Success Community Programme combines personal and academic goal-setting, leadership training, character development and fun to equip participants with tools they need to succeed not only in school but in life.”
Volunteers will be trained in life coaching from October 11 to 13 and work with students during a residential camp from October 21 to 24.
Ms Jackson added: “The experience continues with an eight-month follow-through, including weekly coaching sessions and monthly experiential activities from November 2024 to June 2025.”
Tinée Furbert, the Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, said: “Investing in our youth is investing in the future of Bermuda.
“The Coaching for Success Community Programme offers an opportunity for members of the community to contribute to the development of our young people, helping them to realise their potential and become the leaders of tomorrow.
“We encourage everyone who is passionate about youth development to get involved; this is your chance to be a part of the transformation of a generation.”
