Atlantic Canada universities to host education fair
Representatives from seven Atlantic Canadian universities are to take part in an education fair in Bermuda promoting the benefits of studying in Canada.
In addition to visiting schools and meeting students, the universities will host the Atlantic Canada Education Fair at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.
Students, parents and others were invited to the event on October 7 from 5pm to 7pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the university representatives to learn about the academic programmes offered, scholarships, working while studying, student life and experiential learning opportunities.
Aris Hernandez, an international student recruitment officer, said: “We are pleased to be offering in-person, one-on-one support for Bermudian students interested in pursuing university studies in Atlantic Canada — an internationally recognised destination for high-quality education.
“We’ll help each student explore all that our universities have to offer and assist them with the application process for the university that is right for them.”
The participating universities are: Acadia University, Dalhousie University, Mount Allison University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary's University, St Francis Xavier University and University of King’s College.
Another education fair is taking place at BUEI on October 9 promoting study at universities accredited by the Canadian Association of Independent Schools.
