A Devonshire preschool celebrated international cultures yesterday, when 28 students, aged 2 to 5, and their eight teachers celebrated the human family.

Michelle Caesar, head teacher at Aeries Adventures, explained: “We host international day so that students can appreciate culture from other countries and understand that no matter where someone comes from, we are still connected to one another.

“We have been doing this for at least 18 years, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.”

Children learnt about international food, music and dances after singing It’s a Small World during the parade.
