Public school registration opens this month
Online registration for the 2025-26 public school year opens on November 18, the Department of Education has announced.
A spokeswoman said the registration period will close on November 22.
Applications received after the deadline will be handled once all on-time registration forms have been processed.
Requirements:
• A completed online registration form
• Birth certificate of the child
• Verification of parents’ residential address, in the parents’ name, such as a utility bill, lease, bank statement or internet bill
• Proof of guardianship
• State if the applicant is being registered by someone who is not the child’s parent
• Evidence of diagnosis if the child identifies with a special need, such as ASD or dyslexia
An open house for eastern zone schools is to take place on November 12, and on the next day for central zone schools.
An open house for western zone schools will take place on November 14.
