The registration period for public primary schools has been extended by two weeks, the Department of Education announced.

While the registration period for the 2025-26 school year was originally scheduled to close tomorrow for primary school students, the deadline was pushed back to December 6, giving parents more time to sign up their children.

Parents or guardians can register online with forms available at bit.ly/Register-Student.

In addition to a completed form, parents will need to provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate and verification of a parent’s residential address, such as a utility bill or bank statement in the parent’s name.

Registration by non-parents will require proof of guardianship, and evidence of diagnosis as required if the child identifies with a special need.

Applications received after December 6 will be deemed late and processed after all on-time registration forms have been processed.
