MSA releases magazine to highlight school and students
A new magazine has been launched to share experiences of pupils and the culture at Mount Saint Agnes Academy.
The first edition of The Saint, released last month, also paid tribute to students and alumni who passed away, including 17-year-old Ethan Arruda, who was fatally stabbed on Devonshire Bay Road in October.
Pupils and staff were “completely shaken” by the killing, and the magazine’s spring edition will further honour the teenager.
The Saint also highlighted several events that took place at the school during the 2023-24 academic year, as well as that year’s graduating class, who were accepted into schools such as Acadia University, in Nova Scotia, Rollins College, in Florida, and the University of Ottawa.
Principal Anna Faria-Machado said the magazine was a “new platform to connect with our community” that will “celebrate the rich culture and bright future at MSA”.
