Array of camp options showcased on Sunday

Summer’s almost here: Tinée Furbert, the Acting Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, chats with summer camp operators during an expo (Photograph supplied)

Various summer camps took centre stage during an expo last weekend.

The event at Pier Six in Hamilton allowed parents, guardians and prospective campers to explore a wide array of summer camp offerings available across the island.

“The expo served as an invaluable opportunity for families to connect directly with camp providers and gather insight to help inform their summer plans,” a government spokeswoman said.

Representatives from Dolphin Quest, Pocket Change, the National Gallery and several others promoted their camps.

Tinée Furbert, the Acting Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, said: “It was truly inspiring to see the passion and creativity that our camp providers bring to the table each year.

“Events like this highlight our community’s commitment to supporting positive youth development through engaging and meaningful experiences.”
