Students seeking government scholarships have been given more time to submit their applications.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Education confirmed today that the deadline has been extended to Monday.

She added: “We know how important it is to support Bermudian students, and we’re proud to offer a range of scholarships and financial awards, including the further education award for those in postgraduate studies.

“We encourage all students pursuing postsecondary education to take advantage of these opportunities to help lighten the financial load for themselves and their families.”
