MarketPlace Christmas motorcade to hit the roads again
A traditional Christmas motorcade organised by a supermarket will be held this year, despite Covid-19 restrictions.
The MarketPlace Christmas Parade will start on December 5 from 5pm, after the success of last year’s motorcade format, designed to stay in line with Covid-19 restrictions.
A MarketPlace spokesman said full details of the event would be announced next week.
Seth Stutzman, the president of the MarketPlace group, said the company was delighted to be “bringing the parade to the people once again”.
He added: “We saw so many happy faces on the road while maintaining the safety of all those who participated and came to watch.
“With safety being our top priority, we knew the best way for this year was to have the parade in this format.”
Mr Stutzman said it was important to keep the spirits of the public high and traditional holiday events alive over the festive season.
He added: “We are excited to see all happy faces again.
“We wish everyone a very merry Christmas, and a safe and happy holiday season.”
