A schedule for Heritage Month with a full slate of in-person events for the first time since 2019 has been released.

Festivities start off this evening with the Friday Night Live comedy show at The Loft in the Emporium Building on Front Street, Hamilton.

Heritage Month will see several repeat events take place, such as the free yoga class Yoga for the Arts every Saturday at Spirit House, Devonshire, and an open mic concert at Buna Gallery and Coffee House in Sandys every Saturday.

It will also see several races and charity walks, including the Convex Bermuda End to End charity walk that will take place at 7am tomorrow.

The festivities will all come to a head on May 27 with the Bermuda Day Parade.

The Department of Culture earlier announced the theme of this year’s Heritage Month was “togetherness” to reflect the way the community came together during the Covid-19 pandemic.

For more information on how to be a part of the Heritage Month and Bermuda Day activities, please e-mail culture@gov.bm or call the main office at 292-1681.
