Made in Bermuda event kicks off at Barr’s Bay

The first Made in Bermuda Nights event kicked off on Saturday with organisers hoping it will boost the island’s economy.

The best of Bermuda’s local entertainers lined up for a memorable night topped off by H&H Gombeys.

Other performers at Barr’s Bay Park included DJ Rusty G, Tino Martinez Trio and, The Wall Street Band. Ticketholders were invited to dance the night away or relax under the stars to the great sounds of local entertainers.

Further events will take place on August 27 and September 3.

A spokesman for the event said last week: “This year’s must-attend summer outing for Bermudians and visitors alike showcases some of Bermuda’s best live entertainment, food, and culture.

“The events will run from 8pm until midnight and will feature the 13-piece Wall Street band alongside a variety of local entertainers.

“The return of Made In Bermuda Nights to the island’s summer calendar is incredibly exciting.”

General admission tickets are $75, and include an open bar.
