BUEI to screen star-studded Maggie Moore[s]
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute will screen the star-studded comedy film Maggie Moore[s] this weekend.
The screening, which will be shown in the Tradewinds Auditorium at 7pm on Saturday, is part of the organisation’s Films at BUEI series, which presents award-winning productions on the big screen every other weekend.
A BUEI spokeswoman said: “It’s up to small-town police chief John Sanders to solve the peculiar murders of two women with the same name.
“Wading through an unlikely collection of hapless husbands, lonely hearts, nosy neighbours and contract killers, he tries to put the pieces of the case, and his life, together.
“The film is also inspired by actual events and sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats and in stitches.”
Tickets for the showing are $15 for general admission and $25 for the big screen package, which includes a drink of choice and a snack pack.
Moviegoers can also get 10 per cent off a meal at The Harbourfront before or after the showing if they reserve a space at the restaurant beforehand and should call 295-4207 to do so.
Screening tickets can be purchased via buei.bm or ptix.bm, by visiting the BUEI’s Oceans Gift Shop or calling 294-0204.
